Electric skateboard with automatic proximity braking, built from the battery up.
Overview
Built from scratch, with a custom 18650 battery pack and CAD-designed, machined parts.
An ESP32 running FreeRTOS reads ultrasonic sensors and talks to the VESC motor controller to brake automatically near obstacles.
